A Day for Celebration!

Last Thursday I defended my thesis and passed with no revisions! Friday was my husband and my 5th anniversary! So Friday I celebrated in part by relaxing, and going out in the morning to some thrift stores and garage sales. I didn't find anything at the garage sales, but my thrift stores turned out some fun finds!

I especially liked the 1970s alphabet blocks in the original box - and all of the blocks were included! The Get-along Gang Dottie Dog frame was also pretty fun. It pays off to look in the non-toy section sometimes. :) I also brought home a bunch of new release Littlest Pet Shop toys. They're just so darn cute! I still prefer the ones from the 1990's, but these are fun too.

Interested in finding out what other people found in their thrifting adventures over the weekend? Check out Apron Thrift Girl's Thrift Share Monday!

If you have a moment, please stop by my Etsy shop and take a look around! Many of the items that I feature in my blog eventually make their way to the shop, though there are some goodies I can't bear to part with. :)
